The Vienna-based construction-ERP specialist strengthens Orchestrate — and, together with the group, settles the founder's succession.
SYSTABUILD is acquiring a majority stake in Network Dimensions GmbH in Vienna. Founded in 1997, the company develops MEGABAU, an ERP solution for construction and industrial companies built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The group thereby extends its footprint to the Vienna and Villach locations.
The addition complements Orchestrate, the value-creation domain for business-critical ERP, service and business software. MEGABAU brings project execution, resource planning and commercial control together — for structural and civil engineering, timber, steel and metal construction, façade and scaffolding construction, building services, earthworks as well as demolition and recycling.
With the transaction, founder Günther Schwaiger settles his succession after almost 30 years. He remains actively involved in the management team and accompanies the handover. Florian Thurner, managing partner of the Villach-based subsidiary ND Projects GmbH, joins as co-shareholder and managing director, reinvesting his existing stake.
"Network Dimensions fits our platform both structurally and substantively: a specialised provider with long-standing customer proximity, whose software is deeply anchored in its customers' operational and commercial processes. These are exactly the market positions we want to strengthen — not standardise."
— Thomas Surwald, Group CEO, SYSTABUILD Software Group
Network Dimensions remains in the market with its own brand and its own product, and gains access to central technology infrastructure, AI-supported development processes, group-wide knowledge exchange and coordinated go-to-market activities. The next development steps will be prepared jointly.
